Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, like an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original item's level and any money wasted aren't rewarded.
The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of an item, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment into three aspects that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This helps to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they're opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. Resource will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting stress on their bank accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that particular area. The process will continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a certain quantity of items to be added, as well as an appropriate level for the equipment.
item upgrading comes with two slots: the first is where players can put in an item to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of the item will increase by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades will not be available to it. In the same way, once an item reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounts.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Items upgrades enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This gives them extra effects or an increased level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get the perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
