The Item Upgrader in World of Warcraft
The War Within introduced two gear upgrade currencies, Valorstones and Harbinger Crests. These currencies can be traded at the NPCs of item upgraders Cuzolth and Vaskarn.
Each item may be upgraded up to its maximum level only once for a slot. Upgrades to that slot will be cheaper afterward. In addition the pity system introduced with The War Within lowers extreme upgrade luck variance.
Upgrades
Upgrades are components that improve performance or add new functions. Upgrades can be purchased or earned through a variety of methods, such as through in-game events or cash shop items.
Upgrades are only available for specific items. In contrast to enchantments that can be added to anything, upgrades are only available to the item they are connected to. A weapon that is already equipped can't be upgraded. However, some items can be upgraded multiple times, providing a much more benefit to the owner of the item.
Upgrades are a fairly new mechanic introduced in patch 4.1.0. The upgrade system allows the player to add additional improvements to their equipment to increase it's power. This can range from basic strength increases to significant damage and defence increases. The upgrades are separated into tracks, and each has an upper limit on the amount of upgrades that can be completed. These limits are designed to stop players from going through low-keystone dungeons, and then upgrading their gear all the way up.
Consumables, armor, and weapons are all upgradeable. Most gear is already upgraded as it drops however, a few items (such as Ornn's gear, or the infant Dracolich pet) aren't upgradeable. Gear can be upgraded by purchasing an upgrade recipe from the vendor and combining it with the item that is in the appropriate upgrade slot. A player can see how many upgrades a piece has by looking at it's inventory icon or by searching for that item in the shop.
The upgrade system has two major disadvantages. First, it can be difficult to identify what items are eligible for upgrade because upgrade vendors may not show all of them. Additionally, the upgrade textures are rendered above the item model which can obscure the enchantment glint as well as other details.
Upgrades are also expensive. Each step up a gear's upgrade level is a specific number of Valorstones or crests, depending on the slot of the item and level. Weapons, for instance require more Valorstones and crests to upgrade. Cash shop items can help reduce the cost.
Recycles
In the wake of an increasing awareness of how single-use items and inefficient habits contribute to environmental degradation, many people are changing their shopping habits. Certain people are buying high-quality items that last longer or reuse their old gadgets to find solutions. Others are prioritizing recycled items and seeking out the highest recycled content in their purchases. This will hopefully reduce the amount of resources required to produce and extract new materials, and create a more sustainable environment.
Recycling is an essential element of this process and it's now much more accessible to consumers. Many products, including furniture and paper, are made of recycled material. They're made of recycled or scrap materials and it's simple to buy recycled products on the internet or in the stores. These products aren't just more sustainable however, they're also less expensive than the equivalent products.
As an item progresses in, it receives additional bonuses in addition to its main stat boost. These bonuses vary depending on the item's tier, and may come in different forms. The ones who have higher tiers will receive more bonuses than those with lower tiers.
As the global economy shifts from resource extraction to recycling and reusing, more companies are making commitments to create greener products. Many of these are also focused on recycling materials and are offering incentives to customers to recycle their products. As the demand for sustainable products rises we can expect to see more recycled products in stores and on shelves.
Rerolls
Rerolling is a vital tool in Genshin Impact, or any other gacha game. Rerolling lets players try again for the weapon or character they like, either because it is attractive or they think it's a great fit for their team.
Rerolls work by allowing players to refresh their items that are available for the current wave in exchange for a small amount materials. item upgrading of these weapons rise when the number of rerolls within rows increases, however certain items might not be available in any way (for instance the melee weapon will never appear for players who are only able to use weapons with a range).
When an item is levelled up it moves into the Staple Pool and gains extra bonuses. These are based on the kind of item it is - for example, an upgrade that boosts the main stat of a weapon will also increase its additional stat. The additional stats can also change if the item is modified.
When a player is in enough stamina for a reroll they can hit a button that has circular arrows to swap their current item to a different one. The new item will be of the same level but a different set of extra bonuses, based on whether the old one was a gun, sword, watch or book.
Rerolling doesn't alter the bonus levels of an item. However, a player might still have to meet the minimum requirements for its special ability. This can make it challenging to find an item with the amount of bonus they want but it also allows players to explore a different option in the future without spending more resources.
Upgrading an item won't just increase the value of its bonuses, but it will also give the item a tier boost which means that it's guaranteed to receive a certain amount of bonus stats if upgraded in the future. It is important to upgrade your gear to the extent you can, as additional upgrades won't change the outcome.
Sets
A set is a group of objects that are linked by a property. They are often used in mathematics and can be represented by . Sets possess a variety of significant properties, like the associative property and commutative property. These properties are essential in understanding how sets function and are applicable to real-world situations.
Sets of items can be upgraded to gain additional bonuses in the game. For instance an armor set pieces may give a boost to the armour's defense, while a weapon could give an additional damage base. These additional stats are added after the base stat of the item, and prior to the flats and percentages. The additional stats can be a great way to add value to an item.
When upgrading an item, it will replace the base stat with the new one. For instance an item with 20 base damage would now have 40 base damage. The base armor and upgrade requirements will remain. This is a great method to purchase a premium item at a lower cost.
Upgrades to exclusive items can be extremely profitable, especially when the item is equipped with an interesting mod. A rare belt with +5 IAS, for example can have a huge impact on the strength of a build especially in early hell. It's also a great way to increase the value of a unique item by injecting it with a high or perfect roll.
Upgraders for items differ for unique, set, and rare items. After the item reaches level 10, it is likely to be upgraded to its original type. For example, an upgrade of a unique item with a max defense roll will result in an armor item of elite quality that has the same base type. It is not a 100% guarantee, and in certain instances, an upgrade might not change the item type.

It is recommended to upgrade your BiS (Best in Slot) and then move to non-BiS items. This will give players a solid base to build on when they're trying to level up. Then, they can focus on advancing their tiers and gain additional stats.
